Glen Beach House represents the quintessential beach holiday villa in Camps Bay located on one of the most sought-after locations on the Atlantic Seaboard coastline. It is built in the classic Cape Cod clapboard style with a pool that is literally on the rocks. Views extend across the length of Camps Bay beach and up to the Twelve Apostles mountain range behind the palm-lined promenade. Looking over the garden to the right is the secluded, more discreet cove of Glen Beach.

Light and roomy with ample access to the garden or balconies, every view is maximised with well-positioned vantage points from the verandah from which to soak up the sun and unobstructed views. Inviting day beds cue relaxation as the outdoor entertaining area in the garden overlooks the beach and pool and comes equipped with a fridge and a large barbeque area with a built-in counter for drinks or platters of food. Al fresco entertaining either around the pool or seated at the custom-built 14-seater table upstairs in the dining room is a highlight with the latter affording views from a private balcony overlooking the sea and the beach. Alternatively, there is the partially shaded central wooden balcony overlooking the pool.

With two comfortable lounges (one downstairs and the other upstairs with an adjacent but separate television room), this house is particularly suited to families or couples sharing. The downstairs lounge, in a relaxing mix of celadon colourings, also has its own plasma television screen while satellite and Wi-Fi is available throughout.

A fully-equipped kitchen combines white fixtures with glass, in keeping with the sophisticated beach-house feel. It is located upstairs, off the dining room and is separate from the lounge and deck area.

All four bedrooms are beautifully decorated with quality cotton linens and sensuous tactile fabrics and accessories. Ample storage room is provided and bathrooms are large, especially in the main suite where an oval bath and double shower feature. Floors and cupboards are in bleached wood throughout. The two double and two twin bedrooms are downstairs while a fifth bedroom can be converted from the ‘leisure room’ upstairs off the wooden balcony.

Air conditioning and underfloor heating is fitted throughout while the infinity pool is also heated. The beach is merely steps away reached via a path at the side of the house where there is also a conveniently-positioned  hot/cold outdoor shower.
