Landlocked Botswana shares borders with Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa. Its principal geographical lifelines are the Chobe and Okavango rivers and associated National Parks, which ensure the presence of wildlife throughout the year. In short, Botswana is possibly the best safari destination country in Africa.

While most of the country is covered by Kalahari sand, the Chobe River creates a fringe of riverine bush that extends well into the Chobe National Park. We bring you to this area to see the sought after vision of elephants swimming in the river and hippos silhouetted against a golden orb sunset.

The Okavango Delta is a seasonal swamp that saturates the sand basin with floodwater that arrives from the Angolan Highlands. At flood time, the plains are filled with water and Ilala palm islets create sporadic high points. The landscape is one of lagoons, watercourses, lush grasslands and extensive floodplains.  The seasonal flood water levels dictates the nature of excursion offered as the landscape is transformed by the annual deluge. Within the Okavango Delta is Moremi Game Reserve, stretching over an immense area of 60,000 hectares.
