Per person per night rate: 13,050.00
Total vacation rate for 2 people: 0.00

This 21-night luxury African vacation is what you’ve always been waiting for. It starts off in the sophisticated, rainbow nation city of Cape Town – the furthest you can go in Africa before you fall off the continent. While you are in this part of the world you must spend time in the Cape Winelands village of Franschhoek, to admire the beauty of this mountainous region only 1-hour from the coast (and of course to taste world class South African wine). Then it’s a walk on the wild side in South Africa’s Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve, which has no fences between it and Kruger National Park. Expect to see predators like leopard and lion, and Africa’s other big game including elephant, giraffe, rhino, buffalo, zebra and impala. Getting up before dawn for game drives can be exhausting, so we have added some R&R time on the banks of the Zambezi, just upstream on the Zambian side of Victoria Falls. Seeing this extraordinary natural sight is of course on the list of things to do in your three nights here, and so is a sunset cruise, perhaps a spot of fishing, a visit to a local village and a picnic lunch on an island in the Zambezi River (watch out for hippos and crocodiles). Your safari hasn’t finished yet as you head into the famed Okavango Delta of Botswana by small plane. Seeing the amazing variety of wetlands, woodlands and Ilala palm islets dotted all over the watery floodplains is a sight to behold. The Okavango is considered by many to offer the most diverse and rewarding safari experience in the world and we have chosen Mombo Camp, known for being “the best safari camp in Africa.” We know that you need time to digest all your safari experiences, so we whisk you off to paradise and the soft white-sand of a Seychelles island beach. Here, in the utmost privacy of your enormous Seychelles North Island beach house, your Diamond Africa 21-night holiday slowly comes to a perfect end. The who’s who of the world came to the opening of Sol Kersner’s One&Only Cape Town in April 2009. Why? Because it’s fabulous! It is right on the water of the V&A Waterfront, with some of the largest suites available in Cape Town, all with stunning views of Table Mountain or the Atlantic Ocean. Visit the spa and swimming pool via a walkway across the canal and hail a water taxi to take you into the city or further into the V&A Waterfront.
The creamy, dreamy interiors and high plump beds of a Singita Boulders bedroom are tempting not just because of their appealing style and comfort, but because the glass front of each suite looks out into the Sabi Sand game reserve. And, because there is a plunge pool just for you sunk into your wooden deck. You may feel that you don’t need to go anywhere at all, but there’s exquisite food to be tasted and of course lots of wildlife out there.
Superlatives come thick and fast from anyone who has visited Mombo Camp in the Okavango Delta. “Best game viewing, large luxurious tents, excellent service, spectacular setting, great sightings of leopard, lion, elephant, wild dog and hundreds of zebra, giraffe, impala … and the list goes on. If you want the very best safari in the world, there just isn’t a safari camp that tops Mombo.
The floorplan of the Seychelles North Island beach retreat is enough to assure you that this place was designed for private, spacious living. The soft sand, warm water and barefoot lifestyle will surely seal the deal and convince you that this is ‘the place in paradise’ you have always been looking for. Let your imagination drift as you picture yourself having a spa treatment in your own beach villa, swimming underwater with colourful tropical fish or sipping a cocktail under coconut palms. Tempting isn’t it?
Part of the hand-picked privately owned Royal portfolio, La Residence exudes a style and class that makes this the favoured Cape Winelands retreat for a string of famous guests. Each of the eleven bedrooms is distinctively and elaborately decorated by Ralph Krall, one of South Africa’s most famous interior designers. The country gardens could be described as Formal-Cape-Tropical, as they are a unique blend of all these, with palm trees, immaculate lawns, flowing water and terraces with sweeping views across the Franschhoek Winelands.
Nowhere offers more personalized service and luxurious accommodation than the River Club on the Zambezi River, close to Victoria Falls. The River Club is the pinnacle of colonial comfort in an area steeped in history, which is told through stories and anecdotes around the silver service dinner table. Private and romantic meals are often organised and might take you by surprise. This is a very special and restful lodge, where the “do nothing’ activity is popular, especially around the most beautiful pool you have ever seen.
